our Story

John and Pat Hazelwood have committed their lives to serving the Lord and are called to lead others into victorious living for Christ. They are the founding directors of ‘Yes Marriage Works, Inc.’, a 501 C 3 organization focused on marriage and family sustainability. “We believe we must set the example of Christian family values to a lost society and to a new radical generation, while we challenge them to develop a deeper level of commitment to the Lord.” As ordained ministers, John and Pat have a calling to serve throughout the world wherever God sends them. John and Pat are alumni of Bowling Green State University. John received his Master’s degree from Kaplan University. Pat has held positions as an Administrator for Early Childhood Centers, and is currently an Author, and a Childcare Consultant. They are missionaries with Pioneers International developing sustainable work in marriages, families and relationships. The Hazelwood’s have been married for over 41 years and are the proud parents of nine children; six of which are married and have twelve grandchildren. They served in Thailand as Member Care Coordinators for workers in the Islands of Southeast Asia. They currently serve as Pre-field Marriage Coaches and are living in Myrtle Beach, SC. They are available to share the vision and message of how to build strong marriage and family relationships and how we must embrace the command to, “go and make disciple all nations…” Matt 28:19.
